And announce first Aussie gig ahead of the BDO.

More Jagwar Ma More Jagwar Ma

Ahead of their upcoming slots at the Big Day Out, Aussie indie dance duo Jagwar Ma have put pen to paper on local and international record deals.

The pair, made up of Jono Ma and Gabriel Winterfield, signed an Australian/New Zealand deal with Future Classic, while new label Marathon Music snapped them up in Europe. Marathon is run by frenchman Philippe Ascoli, known for helping launch the careers of Daft Punk, Phoenix and Air.

The boys will also play their first ever Aussie gig on Wednesday 16 January at the GoodGod Small Club. This is just in time for a sneak peek at what fans will be treated to at the Big Day Out.

Jagwar Ma came to fame with their hit Come Save Me, which scored a stack of airplay here and in the UK.
