Jack Harlow knows where the good burgers are.
Rap superstar Jack Harlow has made a surprise visit to the infamous Perth burger shop Compton Burgers.
The artist responsible for world-conquering hits WHATS POPPIN, Churchill Downs, Dua Lipa and First Class dropped into the Perth burger outlet to grab a feed before his show at HBF Stadium last night. The stars' choice of burger? The one named after them! That's right, Jack Harlow tucked into one of the burger spots' speciality offerings the 'Harlow Burger'.
Harlow's presence at the burger shop excited the staff, including owner Michael Theo who recounted the visit to Perth Now
"I heard through the grapevine he loved our burgers, so I reached out and messaged him. . .but I didn’t think it would work,” he said. “The secret I found is just to be nice and genuine to people and they love it, and it worked. “He just came in unexpectedly, I love him he’s really nice.”
While some customers and other staff were understandly star struck by Harlow's sudden presence in their lives, Theo kept it cool, just like he did when Gangstas Paradise rapper Coolio dropped in a few years ago.
“It was very generous for Harlow to come in, it was great for all of us,” he said. “It was awesome for my staff but it was just normal to me, I’ve had Coolio here before.”
