Following months of dispute.
Following months of dispute regarding payment issues, WA's Disconnect Festival has officially been cancelled.
The music and arts event was slammed earlier this year for allegedly not paying its bands and crew from the inaugural festival in December last year and Disconnect promoter, Chris Knight of Spring Fever Promotions, told The Music in June that payments had begun to be handed out.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances that are completely out of our control, we regretfully announce that Disconnect festival is being cancelled," organisers wrote in a Facebook statement on Wednesday night.
Organisers have advised that anyone with tickets to the now cancelled-festival will be contacted by Ticket Booth via email and will be refunded within the next ten days.

It was revealed just last month that a number of suppliers were still yet to be paid, despite the fact that the 2016 festival was to go ahead this December.
Knight told The Music at the time that the dispute in question was simply a disagreement with South West production company Rockwest about how much was owing.
"We’re actually in disagreement over the amount of the bill, and that happens all the time when you’re in business," Knight said.
“As far as I’m concerned, [Rockwest's David Coleman] has been paid in full.
"I’ve gone out and basically got everybody paid."
