Cher appears in a new Uber Eats advertisement where she asks to be taken back to the ‘80s. Discussing the ad in a new interview with the Herald Sun, the singer hinted at am upcoming return to Australia.

The new ad only premiered this week. In it, a time machine lands on the singer’s front door as her 1989 smash hit, If I Could Take Back Time, plays in the background.

“Take me back to the ’80s,” she asks of the time machine, but her request doesn’t take her to the 1980s. Instead, it transports her to the 1680s, where she has to fight off accusations of being a witch. You can watch the advertisement below.

“I get approached to do commercials all the time – but the creativity and hilarity that Uber Eats presented appealed to me right away,” Cher commented in a statement (via Billboard). “I am really proud of the final product. I sincerely hope Uber will get me back my boots.”

With the Herald Sun, Cher opened up about “taking the piss” and said the ad “makes fun of everything I’ve done and who I am,” but she didn’t care: “Funny is funny.”

In the interview, she hinted at returning to Australia after releasing another album. “When the new album comes out, I’ll probably be coming [to Australia],” Cher told the publication. “You can never tell what I’m going to do.”
