Montreal metallers Ion Dissonance have guaranteed fans their new album is due for upcoming release.

The pending record is the Canadian's first full-length since 2010's 'Cursed'. Writing via Facebook, the band observes preparations for the album's release are underway.

"Our first update of 2016 and let me start by stating that 2016 will definitely be a huge year for Ion Dissonance. I know we say this every year as of late, but this is it... Our new record will be released without a doubt in the upcoming months.

The details we mentioned a few weeks back are completely taken care of. The art work is looking amazing so far, and the recording process for the record began as the year kicked off. We began tracking guitars last week, and vocals are getting under way today. We are more than pleased with the way everything is coming together, and we're confident Tony will be conducting some of his best work on this one. We'll be posting updates and detailed information with regards to the release date as we move further into the process.
