Brisbane Music Lovers Treated This International Jazz Day At La La Land

Brisbane will celebrate International Jazz Day in style later this month, thanks to a very special event at La La Land.

The venue’s sit-down supper club jazz event will take place on April 30 and will feature The Voice finalist Angela Fabian paying tribute to Roberta Flack, Anita Baker, Bobby Caldwell, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Donny Hathaway and more.

Recently appearing in the stage show Sisters Doing It for Themselves after winning over fans at the International Woman In Jazz Festival in Melbourne and playing Brisbane Festival, Broadbeach Blues Festival and more, Fabian will be backed by some of Brisbane’s best performers, including Chass Gutherie on keyboard and Ashley Hutton on sax, in her first frontwoman performance of the year.

To top things off, the event will also offer a number of dinner and cocktail packages featuring a three-course meal by acclaimed head chef, David Blackman.
