EXCLUSIVE: Inertia Music Signs NSW Artist FRITZ

Newcastle singer-songwriter FRITZ, aka Tilly Murphy, has inked a deal with Inertia Music and dropped new music to celebrate.

The surf rock maestro has previously worked with Inertia Music imprint Break Even Recordings, on which she released 2019’s acclaimed Ghostpoke 7”, which is when the label fell in love with her.

“FRITZ became a mainstay in our hearts after their 7” release on Break Even Recordings, so we’re thrilled to continue to work with Tilly and the team,” Inertia Label Group Director Meg Williams told The Music.

“Tilly’s songwriting and how she juxtaposes sunny, moreish instrumentation with raw honest lyricism makes for tunes we can’t get out of our heads, we can’t wait for everyone to hear more soon.”

Murphy added that she was “really excited to be joining Inertia Music!”

“I love their roster and am so keen to be a part of it,” she said.
