Sheppard continued their impressive hold in the top twenty of AIR's singles/EP charts for independent labels with independent distribution chart, sitting at number one again this week with their self-titled EP (Independent/MGM). Hayden James debuted in the chart at six with his latest track Permission To Love (Future Classic/Independent).
Sydney boys Glass Towers made quite the mark in the top 20 albums released on independent labels through independent distribution chart. The band's first album Halcyon Days (Hub/Inertia) debuted at number one. This pushed Big Scary down to two with Not Art, with The Cat Empire rounding out the top three with Steal The Light (Two Shoes/Inertia).
Diviney's solo release Sex Games (Neon Church Records/Independent) dropped heavily from second to 16 in the seven-day period, while Spit Syndicate enjoyed a chart re-entry with Sunday Gentlemen (Obese Records) - probably due to their recent massive tour announcement.
