The full program for this year's Indie-Con was announced today, with the full lineup of panelists and speakers confirmed for the Adelaide conference.
Following the announcement of a joint proceedings with the 2021 AIR Awards this 4-6 August, the event will feature keynote addresses, panels and roundtables on a multitude of industry subjects and concerns including NFT's, licensing for live-streaming, music composition in gaming and much more.
This year's impressive topics and speakers include NFT’S, Deconstructing A&R featuring Mark Jowett (Co-founder, Nettwerk, CN) and Rachel Jones-Williams (GM, Dirty Hit Records), Composing Music for Gaming and Sync moderated by Franc Tetaz (Wolf Creek, Judy & Punch), Livestreaming Platforms & Licensing, moderated by Emily Ulman (Isol-Aid) featuring Sean Fay (Guesthouse UK), The Journey Of A Release featuring Anika Ostendorf (Milk! Records) and Mike Warner (Chartmetric), and more.
They'll be joined on the line-up by Noemie Planas (WIN), Ann Tausis (IAFAR, UK) Alex Goatcher (Know What’s Loved), Morgan Read (Mighty Kingdom), Joshua Simons (VAMPR), Vanessa Hutley (Music Rights Australia), Will Evans (Bandcamp), Amber Horsburgh (School Of Deepcuts), BMAT, Jaguar Jonze, Nathan McLay (Future Classic), plus a host of online, on-demand presentations from ARIA, PPCA, APRA AMCOS, Noisehive, Single Music, and Bolster.
Minister for Innovation and Skills David Pisoni shared his excitement for the conference, noting “Adelaide is proud to host Indie-Con with its focus on encouraging greater commercial opportunities for Australia’s thriving independent music sector by building important industry and business networks.
