In Flames win Swedish Grammy

Plus a live clip of 'Come Clarity'

Swedish metal legends In Flames have won the award for the “Best Hard Rock” catorgory last night at the Hovet in Stockholm. Five bands were nominated for their most recent albums. The other bands were:

BACKYARD BABIES – "People Like People Like People Like Us" (RCA)

EUROPE – "Secret Society" (T&T/Sanctuary)

HAMMERFALL – "Threshold" (Nuclear Blast)

IN FLAMES – "Come Clarity" (Nuclear Blast)

THE HAUNTED – "The Dead Eye" (Century Media)

When accepting the award In Flames frontman Anders Fridén asked the audience to stand on their feet and said “This is the third time IN FLAMES have won a [Swedish] Grammy and it feels extremely good," he said and joked: "Thanks a lot to the Swedish people, [distributor] Sound Pollution and all you people sitting down!".

You can check out a clip of In Flames playing “Come Clarity” on the Swedish music awards show "Rockbjörnen" from January 11th in Sweden on YouTube.com.
