It really is too good to be true.
OK, yes, we all freaked out when we saw the alleged Download Festival Aussie line-up poster; blink-182, System Of A Down, Rage Against The Machine… what's not to love?
But, in case you still weren't sure or in the off chance you are frantically trying to find out how to purchase tickets, just settle down for a sec. Because, sadly, it is 100% fake.
As Music Feeds pointed out, a second phony poster has also been doing the rounds and the background used was also feautured on a fake UNIFY poster released in August.

The promoters listed on the poster have also made it quite clear this line-up is not the real deal.
Not only have Live Nation confirmed to The Music that the poster is fake, but North Byron Parklands, who are apparently hosting the festival, have also spoken out on it.
"It’s a bunch of bored pranksters with too much time on their hands," a spokesperson told The Music.
"Download is most definitely NOT taking place at North Byron Parklands."
But hey, if you're still holding out hope for Download Fest to hit the country, former Soundwave promoter AJ Maddah, who is tipping the UK-founded event to announce its legit Aussie line-up soon, said on Twitter today that the fake poster "got a few right".
So, there's still some hope yet.
Nah. They got a few right...
