The Sisters Of Mercy are heading back to Australia. 

The English group have announced three shows for their October/November run, including a show at The Forum in Melbourne, Enmore Theatre in Sydney and The Tivoli in Brisbane.

This will be their first headline run in over seven years, with their last visit taking place in February 2012.


While the band have been cited as an influence by groups like Metallica and Nine Inch Nails, the group hasn't actually released any new material since 1990's Vision Thing.

Tickets for the shows go on sale from Tuesday 29 January at 9am, check out theGuide below for more info on dates.
