After the spectacular sold-out success of its inaugural event last year, Lighthouse Rock will return to Burnett Heads on Saturday, 14 November.

Lighthouse Presents shares the announcement today, revealing that the Great Southern Land rockers, Icehouse, will lead the Great Barrier Reef event.

Joining Icehouse at Burnett Heads is The Living End, Baby Animals, The Screaming Jets, Mason Rack Band, Abby Skye and Evergreen Aus.

In addition to this all-killer, no-filler Aussie rock line-up, Triple M and Lighthouse Presents will host the radio station’s Battle Of The Bands winner from the annual competition. Full details regarding the Battle Of The Bands competition will be available soon. Interested rockers can apply here.

The second year of Lighthouse Rock makes a tradition out of an initiative the inaugural event supported last year.

Supporting the Great Barrier Reef Legacy and the Living Coral Biobank Project, as well as the Sea Turtle Alliance, the 2022 edition of Lighthouse Rock raised over $3,500 that went to the collection of all Great Barrier Reef hard coral species in this world's first 'coral ark'.

Lighthouse Presents’ Director, Gavin Hales, said in a statement, “Thanks to the continued community support we receive for our events, we are thrilled to be able to once again showcase Aussie rock ‘n roll through Lighthouse Rock and 2023 is shaping up to be even better than 2022. With more bars and food options, larger capacity for the audience to enjoy, this is another one not to be missed!

“We hope to make this a ‘must see’ event for our region with people marking the dates on their calendars each and every year. I am excited to be able to bring this stellar line-up to our town and can’t wait to hear us all ‘Rock Out’.”
