Announcing their Aussie tour plans back in February 2020, just before the COVID pandemic started to grip Australia with gusto, the group had announced a postponement last May, without revealing at the time any exact plans for when they would plan to return; but in some good news in a very difficult week for the industry, we may have to wait just under a year to see I Prevail return - but it's undeniably going to be worth the wait, with the Grammy-nominated group hungrier than ever to let rip live onstage.
“We are excited to finally get back to Australia and we appreciate all the fans that have held onto their tickets while we’ve worked on rescheduling these shows. See you in June," said the band in today's announcement.
With I Prevail, Motionless In White and Windwaker all undeniably at the top of their musical game right now, the promise of some metalcore magic next June is some welcome news for heavy fans as festivals, shows and events around Australia continue to topple in the wake of these latest COVID outbreaks.
