Australian metalcore stalwarts I Killed The Prom Queen are now free to return home following a precarious immigration situation, which saw the band detained in Malaysia.
The origin of the incident began when it was revealed the quintet played a show in the nation's capital without performing Visas.
"Weinhofen said the promoters for the Kuala Lumpur show had failed to get them visas. He added they were being looked after and in "good health", and had even been approached for autographs by immigration staff," the Sydney Morning Herald reported earlier today.
It initially looked like the band would be detained in a Malaysian Immigration Detention Centre for up to 14 days, but subsequent tweets from guitarist Jona Weinhofen revealed the group is now free to return to our shores.
