Beloved WA All-ages Festival To Return In 2021 With Special Events

WA all-ages festival Hyperfest has enlisted some of the state’s best artists for three standalone events next year.

Organisers behind the beloved event, who were forced to cancel this year’s sold-out festival in March due to COVID, have announced special shows kicking off in late January that will feature headliners Spacey Jane, Stella Donnelly and San Cisco.

The COVID-safe events will take place in the Locale event space on the corner of Cale Street and The Crescent, Midland.

“Hyper attendees will also be able to enjoy gourmet food vans, a photo booth, free 18-hole adventure golf, games, merchandise and a signing tent for all of your favourite artists,” City of Swan Mayor Kevin Bailey said.

Midland/Guildford Ward Councillor Claire Scanlan added: “As we head towards the recovery phase of COVID-19 we can start reuniting our community and supporting our local music industry, and the next edition of Hyper will do exactly that.”
