Celebrating an American blues icon
Aussie rock veterans Hugo Race and Michelangelo Russo have confirmed a run of headline dates running from July until October to celebrate the release of their brand new record, John Lee Hooker’s World Today.
Covering off some of the American blues icon’s biggest hits, both musicians credit Hooker as a “supreme influence” on the music of Hugo Race & The True Spirit.
It was recorded in one day and night session at Berlin studio Einsturzende Neubauten, which speaks volumes to their talent and promises tight, engaging gigs.
