He'll be playing shows all over the country.

More Hugh Laurie More Hugh Laurie

You might know him best as Dr Gregory House, or perhaps as Stephen Fry's good friend, or as one of the members of the Blackadder crew, but Hugh Laurie is a legitimately talented blues musician as well! It is as a musician that he will be making his way to Australia this April and May, performing shows with his Copper Bottom Band all across the country.

In 2011 he released his debut album Let Them Talk, which surprised many in its sheer quality of musicianship, he then followed it up last year with the equally impressive Didn't It Rain and its from those two records he will be performing material at these shows.

We're told to expect blues, tango, Southern and South American music from the British performer, all delivered with the sharp wit he has been renowned for over so many years.  It will be the first time Laurie has visited us to play music and his first visit to the country at all in 33 years. Don't miss him in action when he plays the below shows.
