How To Score Tickets To Oasis's 2025 Australian Tour

Today, the news we’ve been waiting for and speculating about was finally announced: Oasis are returning to Australia in October and November 2025.

Announcing their first tour dates in 19 years this morning, the British rockers led by what seemed to be the endlessly feuding brothers, Liam and Noel Gallagher, shared that they’re heading to Melbourne and Sydney next year.

Upon sharing the tour announcement, the band made a cheeky reference to a brilliant Australian hit, Down Under, by Men At Work, telling Aussie fans:

People of the land down under.
‘You better run – you better take cover…’
We are coming.
You are most welcome.

DATES & VENUES

Oasis will begin their Australian run at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on Friday, 31 October 2025, and play at Accor Stadium in Sydney on Friday, 7 November 2025.

With such a gap between tour dates and demand leading to additional shows internationally, we wouldn’t be surprised if more shows are added to this tour.

PRE-SALE TICKETS

Fans can access pre-sale tickets through a randomly selected ballot (if they’re chosen!). You can register for the ballot pre-sale until 8 am AEDT tomorrow. Sign up here to access tickets before they go on sale next week. The pre-sale will take place on Monday, 14 October.

To access the pre-sale ballot, fans must tick which city they’d like to attend and answer the following question correctly: “Which Oasis song won Triple J's Hottest 100 in 1995?” You’ll be presented with three song choices.

After entering the ballot, successful applicants will be contacted with the details and timings for the pre-sale and the unique code to access their tickets on Friday, 11 October 2024, before the pre-sale opens next Monday. If you’re not selected for the pre-sale ballot, you can try to buy tickets through the general sale.

GENERAL SALE TICKETS

Melbourne tickets will go on sale to the general public from 10 am AEDT on Tuesday, 15 October, while Sydney tickets will be available from 12 pm AEDT the same day. Check out the Oasis website for more ticketing information.

TICKET PRICES

At the time of writing, no ticket prices have been revealed – you’ll see them when looking for tickets on Monday or Tuesday.

However, tickets are anticipated to be fixed price to avoid the dynamic pricing backlash the band faced in the UK. The band released the following statement regarding the controversy:

“While prior meetings between promoters, Ticketmaster and the band's management resulted in a positive ticket sale strategy, which would be a fair experience for fans, including dynamic ticketing to help keep general ticket prices down as well as reduce touting, the execution of the plan failed to meet expectations.

“All parties involved did their utmost to deliver the best possible fan experience, but due to the unprecedented demand, this became impossible to achieve.”

In the US, general admission prices started at $85, which is approximately $126 in Australia. Fan packages went up to $600, or a whopping $890. We suspect prices will be sold between $100 and $500, depending on packages and fees.
