Sam WestonMelbourne label Soothsayer has today announced the signing of local house producer Sam Weston on the back of his newly-released single, Don't Save Face.
Perhaps better known as one half of Sydney techno duo, Alba, Weston wrote the new 13-minute single solo in a remote desert in South Australia.
"I had inconsistent access to electricity for my synths," Weston says of the gruelling writing process.
"...So this track is more sample-based than previous pieces."
The song release comes at the perfect time for both Weston and Soothsayer, who will now work closely together on his future works.
