They're packing brass.

Raucous New Orleans-style brass band Horns Of Leroy are set to launch their debut LP at Northcote Social Club this Saturday.

It's been a three and a half year journey for the seven-piece outfit. From jamming in Edinburgh Gardens to huffing, puffing and blowing away stages and festival crowds across the country.

Now the group have got their first album together, recorded at Rolling Stock Studios with Myles Mumford, and they're ready to unleash it with a launch show.

Backing them up will be special guests The Scrims and The Putbacks and DJ Scotty Woods will be on decks.

The album is being released digitally the same day, while physical copies drop on 5 August, but you can score one early at the launch.
