Holy Sh*tballs, Trainspotters Is Turning Four & It's Got A Cracking Birthday Line-up

Beloved Brisbane institution Trainspotters — an evening of quality tunes from quality people held at the Grand Central Hotel — is turning four this October, and they've gathered quite the crew of mates together to celebrate the occasion.

Hitting the town together on Saturday 8 October will be Melbourne outfit The Ocean Party, who bring with them their new album Restless to give it a launch away from home, as well as Sydney faves Big White, making their return to BrisVegas to party hearty alongside stalwart locals Tempura Nights and Cannon, with members of Coolin' By Sound conscripts Thigh Master, who are set to release their debut LP the day before, on Friday 7 October, manning the DJ decks for good measure.

The party kicks off at 9pm, and it's a measly five bucks to celebrate one of the city's most enduring regular live-music nights, so get out there and give it some love.

If you can't make it to the birthday, there's always tomorrow night's LP launch for Collector, up from Newcastle; they're supported by Rebel Yell, Brainbeau and Teva.
