"It’s super exciting to be able to play a show again."
Hockey Dad have jumped on the drive-in cinema live gig train, today confirming they'll play a headline hometown show this year.
The Wollongong duo will perform at Bulli Showground on 31 July with special guests The Pinheads in support of their third album Brain Candy due out that day.
“It’s super exciting to be able to play a show again," Hockey Dad said.
"The drive-in aspect will make it such a new experience for everybody. The fact we can bring back live music in this way is so cool. It’s a mixture of old school entertainment crossed with a weird futuristic apocalypse vibe.”
We went to the debut drive-in live music gig in Sydney last week. Check out the verdict here.
