Australia’s premiere hip-hop crew, Hilltop Hoods are touring this July for one of the year’s most anticipated tours. The Hoods will be playing all capital cities, as well as a slot at Splendour in the Grass.
The tour will support their fifth studio album, State of The Art, which will be released on 12th June. The album has already spawned the radio hit Chase That Feeling, which has been all over the airwaves since it’s launch. Hilltop Hoods will showcase new songs, including the first single Chase That Feeling, and album tracks Still Standing and The Return, as well as classics The Hard Road, Clown Prince, and The Nosebleed Section.
The show will bring together some other fresh hip-hop talent. The main support will be from Canadian heavy weight Classified, whose new Self Explanatory album packs a heavy punch. Another special guest is Briggs, the 22 year old Victorian rapper.
His latest Homemade Bombs EP was released to critical acclaim, and has been described as the product of “the Hilltop Hoods and the Funkoars having a baby and not raising it right.”
Continuing to rewrite the Hip Hop rulebook, the Hilltop Hoods look forward to sharing this new journey with old and new fans alike as they hit the road this coming July on the State of The Art National tour.
