Australia's premier Christian band Hillsong United have picked up two of their four nominations at yesterday's 2016 Billboard Music Awards.

The Hillsong Church-affiliated group were poised for awards Top Christian Album, Top Christian Song (where they had two nominations — Oceans (Where Feet May Fail) and Touch The Sky — and Top Christian Artist.

The band won Top Christian Artist, going up against Chris Tomlin, MercyMe and more, and Top Christian Song with Ocean (Where Feet May Fail), but lost the Top Christian Album gong to Lauren Daigle's How Can It Be.

The worship band's most recent album, 2015's Empires, debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart last May.
