One of his former Sydney homes is up for rent.
A Sydney home once owned by INXS frontman Michael Hutchence has been put up for rent.
According to Real Estate, the two-bedroom properly, located at 6 Wentworth St in Paddington, was sold last month for $1.72 million, with its new owner putting it up for rent at $1150 a week.
Hutchence purchased the property for $105,500 in 1985 and lived there for several years with his then-girlfriend Michelle Bennett before selling it in 1995 for $285,500, just two years prior to his passing.
It was between those years that INXS released Listen Like Thieves, Kick, X, Welcome To Wherever You Are and Full Moon, Dirty Hearts, while Hutchence, as noted by his sister Tina in biography Just A Man, The Real Michael Hutchence, started collecting furniture and paintings for the Paddington residence.
Hutchence also owned a Gold Coast waterfront mansion among other properties.
Last month, it was revealed that previously unheard tracks from Hutchence would appear on the soundtrack for the forthcoming documentary Mystify.
