Gunners and AC/DC, Kanye, Lorde...
The sun is only just setting on day three, weekend one of Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival — stomping ground for the rich and famous and a petri dish of musical collaborations. Keeping in mind that upon nightfall tonight, Indio, California's hidden A-listers will truly come out to play (if only because it's easier to walk through the crowds from stage to stage), here are some of the rare and wonderful musical collaborations we've missed out so far over the weekend.
Plagued with her court case against Dr Luke over the last months, it was lovely to see Kesha take the stage on Saturday night with producer Zedd, allowing the pop star to find her place once again in front of thousands. Zedd proclaimed he was a supporter of the artist back in February and offered to produce a song for her and he once again took to his Twitter to show his thanks for Kesha. She came out to sing True Colors.
Thank you Coachella!

Thank you @KeshaRose!

Though with the notable absence of Dr Dre, Ice Cube gathered as many members of NWA as he could (and then some) for a rendition of Straight Outta Compton and Fuck Tha Police on Saturday night. MC Ren, DJ Yella, Barbershop co-star Common and Snoop (who came out on a sparkly tricycle apparently??) also took on The Next Episode.

Lorde had already made her presence known at Coachella when she was spotted in a couple of photos alongside Taylor Swift, so it wasn't too much of a surprise when British duo Disclosure brought out the Kiwi songstress for Magnets. The guest-heavy set also featured Sam Smith, Aluna Francis of Aluna George, Brendan Reily and more.

The pair have voiced their admiration of each other in the past — the Panic! At The Disco frontman covered Halsey's New Americana on Periscope recently, leading Halsey to publicly freak out and explain how surreal the cover was having grown up on the band's music. Telling her Coachella crowd that "there was one band, one band that changed my fucking life", Urie was brought out to duet on New Americana and the P!ATD classic I Write Sins Not Tragedies.
Did that just happen?! @halsey #Cochella

This one's a bit odd — Kanye joined A$AP Rocky on stage on Friday night towards the end of the set, but reportedly had his microphone turned off immediately — a result of Rocky's set running 20 minutes over time. The silent performance of Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1 went on for about two minutes and left the audience frustrated and booing.

Announced just yesterday that Axl Rose would indeed join AC/DX to finish off their world tour, the newly reformed Guns'n'Roses returned the favour by inviting Angus Young on stage, uniform and all, to play Whole Lotta Rosie. The collaboration might've missed the mark on the millennial Coachella crowd, but looks like Rose needed the practise.
This one literally just happened as Baauer bowed out his set. Having recently released Kung Fu with Pusha T and Future this past February, the producer played Kung Fu and I Don't Like together with him. We'll have to wait for videos to surface, but for now, here are a couple of photos.

Major Lazer's strobe-ridden, dancer-ready set was going off already, until they brought out Sean Paul on stage for a Gimme The Light and Light It Up. The set is wrapping up as we type this, so this one's another we'll have to wait for video for. The band also brought out MO for the mega-hit Lean On.

Don't think anyone saw this one coming. The Selfie-creating DJ duo brought out Third Eye Blind's lead singer Stephan Jenkins to sing, along with DJ Tiesto, G Eazy and Walk The Moon to sing Shut Up And Dance.
Coachella gets weirder every year; Chainsmokers just stopped in the middle of a huge EDM set to bring out the lead singer of Third Eye Blind

So far Chainsmokers has brought out as guests: Tiesto, Rozes, G-Eazy, the lead singer of Third Eye Blind, and now half of Walk the Moon.

When Coachella's host slyly announced that we should stick around for all of Harris's set, we all sat with bated breaths wondering if Taylor Swift would grace his stage. Alas, it's Rihanna that has come to party for banger We Found Love in this blockbuster cameo.

Does @Rihanna's Coachella appearance mean she'll be a surprise performer? During @CalvinHarris' set? #BAHatCoachella pic.twitter.com/dXkvj7nmIU
