Melbourne songwriter Henry Wagons has had his track Drive All Night 'Til Dawn open an episode of Marvel's hit TV series Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D overnight.

The high-profile sync for the track, which is performed by his band Wagons, was secured by Wagons' Los Angeles publisher, Sugaroo!. The track was written into the show, with a character singing along with the track.

“It was quite surreal and amazing seeing an authentic US trucker singing along to the first few lines of one of our songs while hurtling down the highway,” Wagons told theMusic.com.au today.

“I thought he might be a contender for a backing singer until his rig went up in the air for no reason then crashed to the ground in a ball of flames.”

The show aired on Channel 7 last night and was the sixth top rating show of the night with 887,000 viewers. It was only beaten by news and current affair programs and Home & Away.
