The two-day event returns to the mountain town this October
The two-day Kyneton Music Festival returns to its eponymous home in the Macedon Ranges this October with a stellar line-up of Australian talent, led by stalwart favourite Henry Wagons & The Only Children and the ever-colourful Mojo Juju, among several others.
Also beefing out the list of reasons to get to Kyneton in a few months are Melbourne pop orchestra Dorsal Fins, funk/soul ensemble Deep Street Soul, acclaimed singer-songwriter Jess Ribeiro, alt-country-rock quartet Raised By Eagles, mononymous singer Mikelangelo, Gabriella Cohen of The Furrs and more.
It all goes down on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 October, bringing boundless mirth to an idyllic mountain setting that also pays respect to local musos by way of the Golden Sounds program, which features a hand-picked selection of musicians from the Goldfields region playing intimate shows at the town's music venue Major Tom's and the Bluestone Theatre.
The town of Kyneton is located an hour from Melbourne by either train or road, and has several local attractions within the bounds of the festival to ensure a wide spread of entertainment across both days.
