With his new band The Unwelcome Company backing him up.
One of Melbourne's most loved singers, songwriters and entertainers Henry Wagons announced details of his first ever solo album a couple of weeks ago and he's now followed that news up with details of an east coast tour on which he'll air plenty of tunes from it. The record, Expecting Company?, will be released on Friday 28 September, giving you plenty of time to familiarise yourself with the songs before Mr Wagons serenades you with them in the flesh.
He won't be alone, though, as he has put together a band called The Unwelcome Company, featuring members of Wagons and female vocal group The Nymphs. His twisted baritone and their soaring sopranos ought to collide in the most wonderful of ways.
