Recently spotlighted by US country music outlet The Boot as one to keep an eye on this year, troubadour Henry Wagons has announced a May national run of the country with his band The Only Children.

Wagons has had a busy month having released his new track and video Santa Fe with us last week, as well as dropped his newest record After What I Did Last Night… on Friday and graced the carnivorous stages of Meatstock over the weekend.

The looming tour will showcase the freshly minted album to the nation, with Wagons bringing along Nashville producer Skylar Wilson along for the ride to play piano in his band. Wagons has also enlisted ARIA-winning Matt Walker on guitar and a couple of his friends in Architecture In Helsinki and Dorsal Fins.

The tour kicks off on Friday, 6 May in Adelaide, after which the band will traipse to Fremantle, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, wrapping up the tour on Saturday, 14 May.
