I mean, who wouldn't want to spend another evening with the man himself?

The man with the strongest face and arguably loudest voice in any room at any given time is Henry Rollins, if I'm not present, of course. The equally profound and profane icon of the punk world has added an extra show in Sydney to his fast approaching Australian spoken word tour.

Lucky you, Sydney, lucky you.

Rollins' debut live show at the Sydney Opera House's Concert Hall, for Festival Of Dangerous Ideas, will be followed up by a second and final appearance on September 4th, which will also showcase the Australian premiere of "Slide Show".
For those unaware, this presentation from the 55-year-old will draw upon his vast travel experiences and his even larger archive of photographs. This "intimate evening" within the SOH's Drama Theatre will bear witness to the iconic front man's stories behind these various photos, photos that he's taken from his time within, but not strictly limited to, the US, Antartica, Baghdad, and even Timbuktu (which is actually in Mali, West Africa. The more you know, right?).
His shows in Lismore, Canberra, Brisbane, Springwood and Milton are now officially sold out (I hope you were quick on those) and all of the other shows are apparently getting very close to selling out. Tickets for this second Sydney gig, which goes on sale Friday, August 12th, can be found here, and tickets for the remaining dates here.

Now, I don't know about you all, but I am naively hoping for a surprise performance of 'Low Self Opinion', in some way, shape, or form.
