A great cause to support if you're free on Friday 27 November
Following the devastating and unexpected news last week that As Paradise Falls guitarist Glen Barrie had passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 26, the shaken up Australian heavy music community has organised a benefit show to support Barrie's family and his pregnant wife Cassie.
Arranged by As Paradise Falls' manager Tom Byrnes of Mannequin Republic, along with Vanguard Touring and the band's family and friends, the benefit show will be held at The Brightside on Friday, 27 November and will see As Paradise Falls, A Breach Of Silence, Among The Vanished, Bayharbour, Down Royale and Trinatyde all playing to honour the memory of Barrie.
All money raised at the benefit will go directly to support Barrie's family, with an extra crowdfunding campaign in place specifically for Barrie's wife and their unborn son.
The night will also feature a raffle with prizes from Seventh Circle Studio, Via Studios, Beserk, Bach Guitar Services and The Brightside to encourage more fundraising.
