Coming to your devices very soon.
Acclaimed HBO Max series Hacks is finally coming to Australia, with local streaming service Stan nabbing the hugely sought after show.
The series, which stars Mare Of Eastown's Jean Smart and US standup comic Hannah Einbinder in the lead roles, will drop on Stan this Friday, August 6, with all ten episodes hitting the platform.
Created by the team behind Broad City and featuring the likes of Christopher McDonald (Happy Gilmore's Shooter McGavin), It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia star Kaitlin Olson, and internet comedy sensation Meg Stalter, Hacks follows washed-up comedy legend Deborah Vance (Smart) as she's reluctantly paired with struggling writer Ava (Einbinder) to reignite their respective careers.
The show has already been renewed for a second season, and has picked up a massive 15 Emmy nominations including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Smart, Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Einbinder, and Outstanding Comedy Series for the show itself.
It also holds a perfect critics score of 100% on review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing.
