Have Your Say On Who Should Next Grace Adelaide’s Walk Of Fame

Bridget Everett, David Attenborough, Thelma Plum & more are in the running.

Adelaide Festival Centre has launched a public poll to help determine the latest additions to state’s Walk Of Fame.

Launched earlier this year, the Riverbank precinct Walk Of Fame celebrates those who have graced the iconic venue over the years, going back to 1973 and currently featuring the likes of Nick Cave, Paul Kelly, Tina Arena, Tim Minchin, Kate Ceberano and more.

Each year three more tiles are added, and the 2017 stars will be narrowed down from 75 names currently shortlisted on the venue’s website, including Bridget Everett, David Attenborough, Eddie Perfect, Thelma Plum and more.

One of those additions will be determined by the public, while the other two are selected by Adelaide Festival Centre Trust and a panel of arts critics.

“This year’s Walk of Fame nominees represent the calibre and diversity of artists and creatives who performed here last year and we’re really looking forward to seeing who the public selects from this impressive shortlist,” Adelaide Festival Centre CEO and Artistic Director Douglas Gautier said.

Head over to the Walk Of Fame website to have your say before August 11.
