Harvest Sideshows Announced For Grizzly Bear, TWOD & Beirut

13 September 2012 | 9:15 am | Celline Narinli

Sideshows for Harvest Festival delights Grizzly Bear, The War On Drugs and Beirut have been announced, which will see the three bands visiting selected cities across Australia in November.

Off the back of Grizzly Bear's fourth record, Shields, to be released on Friday 14 September, there has been much hype around the Brooklyn quartet. They will be playing two sideshows at Melbourne's Billboard and Sydney's Metro Theatre.

Philadelphia's The War On Drugs will also only be playing a Sydney and Melbourne sideshow, to perform at Oxford Art Factory and Northcote Social respectively – where they will rock out their signature brand of rock'n'roll and blues.

Having released The Rip Tide in 2011, Zach Condon – the man behind Beirut - will be heading over to Adelaide for one of their sideshows, Sydney snapping up the other. You'll be able to catch the gypsy-folk connoisseurs at Her Majesty's Theatre in Adelaide and Enmore Theatre in Sydney.
