"It really highlights the passion that heavy music lovers have for their chosen corner of the music world."

Heavy music fans can have their say on what tracks dominated the genre last year with the Hardest 100 making its return.

Voting for the annual countdown is now open with the winner and other top tracks unveiled on March 27 through 24/7 streaming radio station The Faction.

Organisers have also unveiled live listening parties in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne for March 27 alongside a spiced run collab, with 100 bottles of The Faction Spiced Rum being produced by GrogLords for the big day.

With iHeartRadio a sponsor this year, Content Director Brett Nossiter noted: "We always love getting behind The Faction's Hardest 100 each year, it really highlights the passion that heavy music lovers have for their chosen corner of the music world. We will be raising the horns on the day in celebration!"

Last year, Polaris' Masochist took out the #1 spot, being crowned the best heavy track of 2019.
