Hannah Gadsby has today confirmed she'll take her brand new show Douglas around the country this year. 

Following its premiere in Melbourne this week, the Aussie comic will return in December for another date in Melbourne, as well as Hobart, Canberra and Sydney. 

The news comes after a huge 2018 for Gadsby, which saw her breakout show Nanette get picked up by Netflix and become one of the most talked-about comedy specials of the year. 


As well as presenting (and arguably, stealing the show) at last year's Emmys, Gadsby was honoured at the Australian In Film Awards last October and won her first AACTA Award in December, taking out the Best Performance In A Television Comedy category.

Tickets for the upcoming Melbourne dates are on sale now while tickets for the newly-announced dates go on sale from 9am this Friday (29 March).
