"#notallmen, but a lot of them."
Australian comedian Hannah Gadsby might have just taken out the top moment at this year’s Emmys.
Gadsby stole the show when she took to the Emmys stage to present the award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series, with social media immediately lighting up and many wishing was hosting the event.
“Somebody like me, a nobody, from nowhere, gets this sweet gig, free suit, new boots, just ‘cause I don't like men,” Gadsby joked.
“That’s a joke, of course – just jokes, fellas, calm down. #notallmen, but a lot of them.
“Nobody knows what jokes are these days, especially men. That's why I'm presenting alone.”
