They'll be taking their UNFD label mates The Brave along for the ride
Canberra hardcore heroes Hands Like Houses have confirmed Brisbane hardcore crew The Brave and hard rockers Young Lions will be joining them on their national Colourblind tour in February.
Hands Like Houses have enjoyed one of their most successful years to date, going from strength to strength with the release of several outstanding singles and the release of their third studio album, Dissonants.
The album debuted at #7 on the ARIA Album Chart and tracks such as I Am, New Romantics, and Colourblind have evoked frenzied mosh pits everywhere from UNIFY 2016 and The Equinox Tour with Northlane and In Hearts Wake, to the other side of the world in the UK for Download Festival, and on the Vans Warped Tour.
The quintet also delivered a passionate cover of No Doubt’s Don’t Speak for triple j’s Like A Version back in June, which hopefully they’ll whip out at least once during their impending Colourblind tour.

When the song was released back in February this year, frontman Trenton Woodley said the song’s culturally charged lyrics are a reflection on underlying racist tones in Australian society.
“Colourblind is about our cultural obsession with binary ideas — black and white, or politically left or right, for or against, right or wrong," Woodley said in a statement to UNFD. "We’re so caught up in black, white and the infinite shades of grey we forget that colour is in everything. Oh and yes, there is a ‘u’ in ‘Colourblind’. We’re Australian."
Fellow UNFD label heavy hitters The Brave are also having a stellar year thanks for their highly acclaimed debut album Epoch, which shares influences from iconic acts Bring Me The Horizon all way to 30 Seconds To Mars and Linkin Park.
Fronted by the enigmatic Zach Britt (who also fronts Dream On, Dreamer), Young Lions deliver hard emotional rock you’ll absolutely want to get down early to catch.
