Dig into 'Books For The Holidays' here

Melbourne alt-pop trio Halcyon Drive are spilling the beans big time this morning, with a new tour and brand new EP announced, as well as a taste of the new record via shiny new single, Book For The Holidays.

Untethered, due out on 13 May, will lead the band into a hefty national tour kicking off on 9 June in Wollongong, after which the band will head to Newcastle, Canberra, Sydney, Geelong, Traralgon, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and finally Gold Coast on 10 July.

Until the forthcoming record is released, folks can dig into the super-lovely Books For The Holidays, a track that vocalist Michael Oechsle says is "about being frustrated with the state of loneliness. Part longing over unrequited feelings, part despair, part wonderment at the beauty that surrounds us everyday — this is definitely the most heartfelt tune on the EP".
