New York hardcore punkers H2O have announced that they will release a covers album in 2011.
Frontman Toby Morse has revealed that the band will be releasing a new covers album through their label, Boston's Bridge Nine Records next year. Entitled "Don't Forget Your Roots", the release will feature renditions of songs from names like The Clash, Ramones, Descendents, Dag Nasty, Verbal Assault, Madball, Gorilla Biscuits, Suicidal Tendencies, Minor Threat, Rancid, Social Distortion, U2, Circle Jerks, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Warzone, De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest.
The band last released their debut on B9, "Nothing to Prove", in 2008. They will be in Australia next February as part of the national Soundwave tour alongside Iron Maiden, New Found Glory, Pennywise, Terror and many many more.
