Dan Sultan will now take his place at Adelaide's Gorgeous Festival

More Dan Sultan More Dan Sultan

Gurrumul has pulled out of Adelaide's Gorgeous Festival - and will be replaced by Dan Sultan - after an administrative blunder caused a double-up in dates for the much-loved singer and guitarist.

With tickets on sale to the festival today, the festival have notified fans of the change.

Chugg Entertainment's CEO Matthew Lazarus-Hall admitted, "In the process of changing agents there was a miscommunication on potential  and contracted dates which resulted in a double booking."

Chugg Entertainment have a long standing relationship with Gurrumul and his label Skinnyfish and are currently booking shows for him. The arrangement may not be permanent, however.

Lazarus-Hall added, "We apologise for the inconvenience that this has caused."

The festival will be headlined by Missy Higgins and recently finalised the line-up.
