No one was hurt
Shots were fired in downtown Austin early Sunday morning during SXSW's last day, which sent conference attendees and other general punters running into the night.
As Statesman reports, 22-year-old Rondarius Spicer has been arrested for the shootings around 2am near the corner of Sixth and Trinity streets, with no one reporting injuries.
The man was reportedly from nearby Killeen, Texas and will be charged with a misdemeanour weapons charge and possibly a felony charge for deadly conduct for discharging a deadly weapon.
As USA Today reports, officers recovered the gun near Old School Bar & Grill where Austin rock band Hour Band were playing a free show.
