It's gonna be moody and chilled-out

We love a good collaboration and today's news is just delectable. Melburnian alt-soul musos The Cactus Channel are making an EP with Ball Park Music/My Own Pet Radio singer Sam Cromack and today we've received a little teaser about it.

Sit tight until 10 February when you'll hear the first official taste of their sound together, for the first single Sorry Hills.

Cromack says, "I got into The Cactus Channel years ago and I was thrilled when we met each other and talked about maybe making some music.

"Working on the EP has been a lot of fun, it's been very laid back. They're extremely talented players so it's been kinda effortless. The sound is nice; it's probably some of the moodiest and most chilled-out music I've ever made. It's gonna be a good late-night record."

The six-track EP will be released in April and shortly after, the two acts will embark on a three-date tour. The Cactus Channel are about to kick off a February tour in the meantime.
