The news was confirmed today.
Groovin The Moo has been cancelled.
Event organisers confirmed the news this morning, announcing that the April/May events have been cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and Government's advisement against mass gatherings of over 500 people.
"There is nothing that we love more than seeing our Moo Crew in each of our regions and we are deeply saddened that this won't be happening this year," promoters Steve Halpin and Rod Little said.
"Our sincere thanks to everyone who has been involved in GTM this year and in years past. We're aware that this is impacting many people around the world and we encourage you to look after each other."
Though Splendour In The Grass has been able to reschedule its 2020 event for October, GTM is unable to move dates around "due to the uncertainty surrounding how long the ban will be in place for, along with the logistics involved with coordinating six venues across six states and territories".
Artists including Tones & I, Supergrass, Gang Of Youths, AJ Tracey, Dope Lemon, Kelis, Waax, The Veronicas and more were due to appear at the festival across the country.
