Alibis and Other Lies, Grinspoons 5th studio album, not only debueted

at #2 on the Aria Album Charts and #1 on itunes Album Chart, but this

week, after only being release a little over 2 weeks ago, achieved gold

sales (35,000 units) . This is an incredible feat usually reserved for

more accessible bands like U2 and Powderfinger not a bunch of party

animals from Lismore who sing about dead cats. So who said ice wasn't

good for you?
