"The song is influenced by Perth, the feeling that living in a smaller town or city can give you."
Perth rockers Great Gable will round out 2018 in style, circling Australia in November and December in support of new single Golden Slums.
The fast-rising stars have had a big year, selling out dates around the country, hitting up numerous festivals and supporting the likes of Ocean Alley.
“I started writing the first verse of Golden Slums after chatting about Perth with my housemate,” frontman Alex Whiteman said.
“The song is influenced by Perth, the feeling that living in a smaller town or city can give you. It’s not a bad thing, it just influences you in a certain way.”
Golden Slums is set for release October 26 before its supporting tour kicks off in late November in Adelaide and takes in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.
