Brisbane Live Music Venue Takes 'Immediate Hiatus For The Forseeable Future'

"We hope this is just a short break and that we will be back bigger and better than before..."

Brisbane live music venue Greaser has announced it will be taking an "immediate hiatus for the foreseeable future".

The announcement was made in a statement released on the Brunswick Street venue's Facebook page today.

"With a heavy heart we have to announce that we will be taking an immediate hiatus for the foreseeable future," the post reads.

"Even with the improving restrictions we are not able to maintain the level of service that you have come to know and love from your pals beneath the streets."

Greaser will still offer home delivery through UberEats.

The Fortitude Valley space has hosted a number of bands and artists over the years The Creases, RAT!hammock, Gabriella Cohen and FANGZ.

Greaser also featured on the local Mountain Goat Valley Crawl festival.
