When confirming the festival’s expansion last month, organisers noted, "This will be the most daring and unique line-up of any festival this year.”
Their teaser clip at the time featured Diplo and SIDEPIECE's On My Mind, which suggested one or both would be on the line-up; we now know it was alluding to SIDEPIECE’s name on the bill.
The Grass Is Greener launched in 2016, with an aim to highlight and foster emerging Australian artists in regional centres while also bringing major acts to punters.
The event has a long-term roadmap to incorporate the metaverse, recently announcing they are the first Australian festival to enter the NFT space. Holders of the NFT tickets will unlock unique and exclusive on-site experiences.
